I'm 26 and found out I had thyroid cancer early this year. After a total thyroidectomy, I have to take thyroid pills for the rest of my life. I'm on a desiccated thyroid which I've heard works much better than the synthetic brands. Feel free to message me if you're having trouble and need some advice. I'll send you all the info I have. I know how hard it is to live with hypothyroidism and I'd love to help anyone who needs it any way I can!

If you are looking for a treatment to help eliminate pain. Please view a documentary called 'device that relieves pain' on ABC four corners: I have been pain free for 4 years and have SCENAR treatment every 6 months.
ReplyDeleteDr. Todd,
ReplyDeleteWhat herbs can I take to help boost the t4 to t3 conversion?
Quack quack. Please don't call yourself a doctor it is very insulting to the brilliant people who have spent their lives learning science and medicine and save thousands of lives everyday. You, on the other hand, wasted your life studying pseudoscience that doesn't help anybody. See the difference?
ReplyDelete@jillzafreak C'mon! Let's cut to the chase and stop being childish! Don't you want help? The differential diagnosis could be vast with such symptoms like yours... Maybe your tiredness is due to another cause and you might need to check it out. A potential list is: Anemia, depression, drug side effects, adrenal insufficiency, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia, rheumatologic diseases like fibromyalgia and list goes on and on... I suggest you look for those as well.

ReplyDeleteyes, you are being a TOTAL ANNOYING COCKKEAD. Of COURSE i am hypothyroid. It took a lot of asking questions and getting blood tests, even after i became so tired it was hard to function at all, and turns out i have hashimotos. So fuck off, as if anyone would be taking thyroxine if they werent hypothyroid? Why would you assume that I would just go and take a drug that i had not been prescribed? Doctors say my levels are "normal"., GPs have no idea, keep seeking, ppl!
@jillzafreak IF you have hypothyroidism you get thyroxine. IF you DON'T have hypothyroidism then you SHOULD NOT take thyroxine. Thus, thyroxine depends on the DIAGNOSIS. If you still have a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism and still thyroxine doesn't correct your symptoms then you should have thyroxine blood levels checked. IF the blood levels are NORMAL you might have a condition called GENERALIZED THYROID HORMONE RESISTANCE. I might be a dickhead, however I am not an EMPTYhead.
ReplyDelete@themistoklis1984
ReplyDeletehaha, you are a total dickhead. just taking thyroxine does not always help.. ive been on it for years and i was still very sluggish and tired, depressed, and i was really trying to get exercise, got more than a lot of healthy people, and things are still this way and it can be hard. thyroxine does NOT SUPPLY THE HORMONES YOU NEED. get your adrenal checked out, too. good luck
@jomare8210 I have hypothyroidism also. I will look into these treatments. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDelete@Cairokmt
ReplyDeleteMy aunt has hypo thyroid and she used Picur,a combination of piperine and curcumin and Regenesis, a probiotics .The result is very good.the goiter size was reduced by almost 40% in three(3) months.
HYPOTHYROIDISM HAS FUCKED MY LIFE UP
ReplyDeleteJust take Thyroxine and you are OK!
ReplyDeleteThere is also congenital hypothyroidism which is something you are born with. This can be due to a malformation of the thyroid, for example, only being born with half a thyroid.
ReplyDeletethank you for this very well explained video :)
ReplyDeleteIt helps a lot.
@Cairokmt I avoid GMO's. I eat mainly non-cruciferous veggies- squash, tomatoes, lettuce, dandelion, etc. fruit and organic grass fed & finished meat (NOT grain fed). Some folks tolerate GF (gluten free) pseudograins- teff, quinoa, amaranth, chia seeds and beans (soaked overnight and cooked thoroughly). I use xylitol & stevia. No more chem cleaners or air fresheners (environmental goitrogens) & use baking soda & vinegar to clean. Exercise is very imp.Food is expensive but I feel better.GOOD LUCK.
ReplyDelete@MrsKaulitz88 I am also hypothyroid. Changing diet to eliminate food goitrogens (raw cruciferous veggies/ strawberries/ peaches/pears & millet), all processed food (sodas, cereal, bread, chips, etc- the preservatives, artificial sweeteners/ colors/ flavors, processed sugars and corn syrup). I Avoid flouride (mainly in toothpaste & tap water). I Avoid gluten (wheat/ rye/ barley/ spelt/ kamut/ non GF oats) & chem laden meats which are so BAD for the thyroid.

ReplyDeleteI searched the internet to find out what hypothyroidism is and how to possibly cure it. I started doing some research and I learned about herbal thyroid supplements . It's a supplement that is made of all natural ingredients and specifically formulated to improve thyroid function and to bring back the natural metabolic rate of the body.
